- It's a small Lithium-powered shortwave receiver that can demodulate AM and SSB in the band up to 10MHz. It also plots waterfall and spectrum in 200kHz band on a large LCD. There are four pushbuttons and two encoders for user input.
- Now you can see your waterfall plus/minus 100kHz the center frequency, where radio is tuned. They are also synchronized, when you change frequency or mode on the radio, the same is changed also on sdr-console and vice versa. - The images on the right show a SDR-4++ receiver using two HDSDR sessions to display each receiver channel simultaneously. For the demonstration the receiver on the top waterfall uses a vertically polarised Fractal Vertical antenna. - The interference on the outside of the HD radio bands corresponds to the modulation peaks of the actual signal on the waterfall. Here is a more dramatic example of it happening last night. To help rule out if this is a problem with the station or my radio, I tried a few things:

As I move the red line (software tuning) around on the display, it changes the tuning of the downconverter, and you can see the spectrum change. Also, when I change the IF bandwidth, you can see the effects of the filtering.
